Inheritance disputes – challenging (or defending) a Will
The Last Will and Testament is intended to make proper provision for loved ones, but it can certainly be the case that families are taken by surprise by a Will which apparently fails to do so.
The Inheritance Act 1975 exists to offer families a possible recourse if they feel that the deceased had been improperly influenced, or had lost mental capacity.
We are able to assist in either challenging or defending the provisions of a disputed Will, and, should you find yourself in this unfortunate position, will be able to rely on our absolute discretion and sensitivity during this difficult period.
